86,400 Seconds In A Day: Time Is Precious

We all have 86,400 seconds in a day, that’s 24 hours. I saw this once and it basically said, if you had just received $86,400 and someone took $60 from you, would you spend the rest of the day thinking about that and trying to get back the $60 back…OR would you move on and enjoy the remaining $86,340?

IN THE SAME WAY, don’t EVER allow the poor choices or immature behavior of others, whether it’s something they said or did to you, something that took a minute or less from your day (just 60 seconds), don’t allow THAT to ruin the rest of your day! It’s not worth it and anyone displaying poor/immature behavior is certainly not worth it. Don’t ever empower someone else to determine the kind of day you have.

The Bible tells us in Ephesians 5:15-16, Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

Psalm 90:12 (NKJV) says,

So teach us to number our days,
That we may gain a heart of wisdom.

Finally, 1 Peter 2:15 (NIV) says,

For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people.

Life is short, my friend, and You Are On The Clock! Don’t ever empower the poor choices of others to dictate your thoughts or behavior! Time is too precious and you will only regret it! Don’t let them rent space in your head, but always focus on what God has said!

Focus on God,

Isaiah 26:3 (NKJV) You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.
